Jaspers’ work aims to understand the impact of social networks on societal structures and the implications for individuals and communities. She is also interested in understanding attitudes towards and inequality based on ethnicity, sexuality, and gender. Jaspers has coordinated various (inter)national large-scale data collections, e.g., the European Survey INCLUSIVITY (in the context of an international project funded by Volkswagen Stiftung) and the Panel Study Children of Immigrants Longitudinal Study in 4 European countries (CILS4EU). She has received multiple grants from NWO, including several in the context of the Dutch Science Agenda.
