Dr. Nina Hansen
Professor of Social and Cultural Psychology

Hansen’s research centres on the social psychology of cultural change, with a specific interest in change caused by the modernization of the Global South and in the context of migration. She is regularly consulted by governments and organizations around the world, and participates in many international and transdisciplinary research projects, developing theory-driven interventions and social impact evaluations with African, Asian, and Latin American countries. Hansen is a member of the executive committee of the European Association of Social Psychology and associate editor for Frontiers in Psychology.
