I am a PhD researcher at the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI-KNAW). Here, I work on the project ‘The Rise in Singlehood and the Social Embeddedness of Singles’. Before joining NIDI, I obtained a BSc in Sociology at Radboud University, and a MSc in Migration, Ethnic Relations and Multiculturalism at Utrecht University. In my research, I predominantly adopt quantitative methods, but also focus on integrating these with qualitative perspectives.
Within SOCION, I am supervised by Lonneke van den Berg, Matthijs Kalmijn (NIDI-KNAW) and Charlotte Knowles (University of Groningen).
