I am associate professor of sociology at Utrecht University.
My areas of expertise lie in bothqualitative and quantitative methods. During myPhD program, I conducted independent research on the well-being of elderly people, people with visual impairments and homosexual young people. In doing so, I collected qualitative and quantitative data by conducting surveys and setting up datasets.In addition, I have experience with mixed-methods. In addition, I have experience with mixed-methods approaches by applying advanced statistical methods and survey analysis and combining them with qualitative interview data.
