About Konstantin

I am an interdisciplinary social scientist with a background in social psychology, interested in political phenomena related to polarization and socio-economic divisions. At SOCION, I will be joining a PhD project at the University of Groningen, supervised by Toon Kuppens and Eva Jaspers. In this project, we integrate social-psychological and sociological approaches to study mechanisms of education-based segregation and its consequences, such as polarization of social and political attitudes.

Before joining SOCION, I worked as a Junior Researcher at NIDI, where I supported international comparative survey research and gained experience in demographic research. I look forward to collaborating across disciplines and addressing social cohesion in times when society feels increasingly disconnected.
