About Andreas

I am Professor of Moral and Political Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Before that, I was a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Values and Public Policy at Princeton University. I received my DPhil in Philosophy from the University of Oxford.

I think and write about moral and political philosophy and the philosophy of public policy. I am particularly interested in longtermistm, socio-political freedom, consequentialism, distributive justice, inequality, behavioural policies, public health, and animal ethics. I am also the director of the PPE Centre in Groningen.
